Location & Date
Friday, January 17th, 2020 @ the Carthage Nazarene Church.
Snow day date is Friday, January 24th.
Culinary STAR Events will take place at Nevada Regional Technology Center on Wednesday, January 15th. Louise Lunkenheimer is helping with the facilitation of that event and she will send out specific information to the schools who register for that event.
Anticipated Schedule for the Day Of
8:00- Doors Open for Registration
9:00- Registration Ends
Participant Orientation in the Sanctuary
Evaluator/ Volunteer Orientation in the Gym
9:15- Report to Assigned Rooms
9:30- Events Begin
11:00-12:30- Lunch in the Gym
Awards will take place once all the events are complete and scores have been tallied. We hope to conclude activities by 3:30 p.m. but will not have a good estimated time until the schedule is built after registration closes.

Registration
The registration system for STAR Events can be accessed at- https://www.registermychapter.com/fccla/MO-11/Main.asp
All STAR Event registrations, including volunteers will take place using this system. You will only be allowed to register students who are affiliated members.
Each chapter is responsible for securing 3 volunteers who can be used as evaluators and room consultants. Please make sure that no more than 1 of the 3 volunteers from your school is a student. - To begin the registration process, you will use the username and password that you used for the online affiliation system.
- You have until December 20th at midnight to register your students and volunteers for STAR Events competition.
- To register Advisers- click on the "Add Advisers" button, if you have more than 1 chapter adviser you will need to add each one. There will be a $5 fee for each adviser to pay for lunch. When registering Advisers, be sure to mark the volunteer box as chapter advisers will serve as adult room consultants during STAR Events. Please note that you will be assisting with STAR events for the majority of the day. You will need to prepare your students for that, they will not have access to you at all times and you will not be able to help them with their STAR Event event on the day of.
- To register Students- you will click on the "Add Students" button to register both student participants and student volunteers. Once you click on this button you will have to search for the student you wish to register, it will find them using your affiliation information. Once they have been located, you can identify them as a Culinary Participant, Student Volunteer, or Student Participant. The registration fees are as follows: Culinary Participant $20, Other Event Participants $15, Student Volunteers $5, Advisers $5- all of these include the cost of lunch.
- To register Adult Volunteers- click on the "Add Other Name" button- this will allow you to register an adult volunteer. Please note that we will need you to enter the phone #, address, and e-mail for all adult volunteers. There is no cost for adult volunteers.
- When you have completed an individual's registration it is saved in the system so you can go out and come back in and enter more individuals at a later time. Nothing is final until you hit "Finished Registering." Print the invoice you are given.
- You will submit checks, made payable to Region 11 FCCLA to Cassville High School c/o Samantha Cosper 1501 Main Street Cassville, MO 65625
- Registration deadline is December 20th at midnight. Please make sure that you have submitted a requisition to your central office after submitting your registration so that a check can be cut in January.
- If you have any substitutions, cancellations or have additional volunteers after submitting your registration, please communicate those to Samantha Cosper via e-mail [email protected].
- There will be no refunds issued by the region for cancelled participants. If you have a volunteer that cancels, it is your responsibility to find a suitable replacement.
